Translated from the Arabic original into Turkish by Suudi Mehmed Efendi (Muḥammad ibn Amīr Ḥasan al-Suʻūdī). Illuminations are believed to be created by Nakkaş Osman, and his workshop in Istanbul. The miniatures are painted in opaque watercolor and gold on paper. This manuscript is now part of the collection of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Paris, Ms. Supplement turc 242.
